Empowering women to reconnect, rediscover and reawaken on their journey of transformation

Welcome to ReMind Therapy

Hi I'm Samira

I am so excited you're here! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, partner, mother, spiritual seeker, and avid coffee drinker. I love nature (a true beach girl at heart), cooking for my family, and learning about all things health and wellness. I’m deeply committed to the path of self-growth and dream of living in a world filled with compassion, expression, and consciousness. I believe one of the biggest ways we can create this world is by waking up. Awake to who we really are and allow ourselves to live into our unique expression -- expressing our gifts and allowing ourselves to follow our dreams. What I believe the world needs is for us to come alive. Sometimes, negative life experiences or mental health struggles can create a barrier to this. I’m wildly passionate about helping people deepen their understanding of themselves, uncover limiting beliefs, and discover the blocks standing in the way of becoming who they want to be. My personal experience informs my work as someone who survived childhood trauma, and has suffered from anxiety. As a mother who has experienced post partum anxiety & depression, I also understand the complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, parenting and motherhood. My clinical background, combined with my personal development and spiritual journey, sparked my passion for ReMind. Through my own healing work, I discovered how powerful it is to reconnect with yourself and reprogram your mind to become more aligned with your true essence.

I’ve been practicing as a therapist since 2016, with experience in a wide variety of settings—including schools, outpatient clinics for children, families, and adults, as well as addiction and recovery treatment centers. I’m licensed in both California and North Carolina. I am a native New Englander, and lived on Westside of Los Angeles for 12 years before moving to Raleigh, North Carolina where I currently reside with my family. I believe in the power of healing, support, validation, forgiveness, connection, uniqueness, and vulnerability. My clients typically come to me to overcome past and present challenges, foster healthier relationships, boost confidence, and navigate life transitions. As a therapist, my approach is warm, direct, curious, and insightful. I offer a safe space for you to explore your inner self and find solutions to your struggles. With Telehealth services, you can access me from the comfort of your own space.

My approach is holistic, integrating family systems, psychodynamic, humanistic, mindfulness, CBT, solution-focused, and person-centered therapeutic modalities. Together, we’ll explore how past experiences shape your present, identify patterns that are keeping you stuck, and develop practical solutions to help you move forward and create lasting change. Drawing from both personal experience and a passion for mind-body healing, I recognize how deeply thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations are interconnected. I understand that the past can sometimes hinder living fully in the present, and I’m honored and committed to supporting you through that process. My goal is for you to experience healing and live a life that is more embodied and in true alignment.

“Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
-Howard Thurman
